Desktop notifications
The desktop notifications enable you to display notifications on your desktop when you receive a notification addressed to you (a notification "To me"), or the start time of the appointment approaches.

Enabling Desktop Notifications in Personal Settings
Enable desktop notifications and specify when you want to receive a reminder notification for the appointment.
To use desktop notifications, permission from a system administrator is required.
You can check if desktop notifications are permitted in Step 5 of the procedure. If Desktop notification settings is not displayed in your personal settings, desktop notifications are not permitted.

If you do not receive desktop notifications even after you configure the settings
If you do not receive desktop notifications, it may be due to one of the reasons listed below.
- There is no tab open in your Web browser that displays Garoon.
Desktop notifications appear only when Garoon is open in any tab of your Web browser. - You view a Garoon "To me" notification in your Web browser before the desktop notification appears.
There is a time lag between when you receive a "To me" notification and when the desktop notification appears. If you view the "To me" notification content in your web browser first, the desktop notification will not appear.
