Troubleshooting iPhone Version of Safari

This section describes how to troubleshoot problems such as product screens not being displayed or screen layouts being corrupted.

This section explains the scenario using iOS version 16.0 as an example.

STEP1: Clear Cookies and Cache Information.

  1. Tap Settings on the home screen, and then tap Safari.

  2. Tap Clear History and Website Data.

  3. Tap Clear History and Data.
    Clearing cookies and browsing data from Safari will not change your AutoFill information.
    Check that the problem is solved.
    If it is not solved, proceed to STEP 2.
    If this step solves the problem, skip STEP 2 and the subsequent steps.

STEP2: Disable Private Browsing.

Apple Safari Help: Turn Private Browsing on or off on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

  1. Open Safari and tap the tab button at the bottom right of the screen.

  2. Tap Private to display "Tab Groups".

  3. Tap (number) Tabs.

  4. Tap Done.
