This section describes how to add or delete a client certificate issued by Cybozu to or from Safari for iPhone/iPad.

Adding Client Certificate

The following are steps to add a client certificate to Safari for iPhone/iPad.
Confirm that you can receive e-mails on your iPhone/iPad, and follow the steps below.

  1. Obtain a client certificate and its password.
    As for how to obtain them, refer to Installing Client Certificates on Devices.
    If downloading a client certificate is prohibited, obtain it from your system administrator.

  2. Send the client certificate to your iPhone/iPad via e-mail.

  3. Open the e-mail received on the iPhone/iPad, and tap the client certificate named "(your login name).pfx".

  4. Tap Allow.

  5. When the profile is downloaded, tap Close.

  6. On the home screen, tap Settings .

  7. Tap General.

  8. Tap VPN & Device Management.

  9. Tap the relevant profile in "Profile Downloaded".

  10. Tap Install.

  11. Enter your passcode set on your iPhone/iPad.
    A passcode is a sequence of numbers or characters to unlock your iPhone/iPad.

  12. Tap Install on the warning screen.

  13. Tap Install on the confirmation screen.

  14. Enter the password for the client certificate obtained in Step 1.

  15. Tap Next.

  16. Tap Done.

  17. Delete the following data for security reasons.

    • From client PC:
      Saved client certificates
    • From iPhone/iPad:
      E-mail with the client certificate attached
  18. Start Safari and access the following URL.
    https://(subdomain name).s.cybozu.cn/

Replacing Client Certificate

Replace an existing client certificate with a new one.

  1. Obtain a new client certificate and its password from your system administrator.
  2. Delete the old client certificate.

Delete the client certificate.

  1. On the home screen, tap Settings .

  2. Tap General.

  3. Tap VPN & Device Management.

  4. Tap the Profile to remove.

  5. Tap Remove Profile.

  6. Enter the passcode set on the device.

  7. Tap Remove on the confirmation screen.
