If your environment uses IP address restrictions and client certificate authentication, you must import a client certificate and configure connection settings.

To use kintone on Safari on an iOS device, you need to configure settings in the following way.
You can use client certificate authentication for both Safari for iOS and the mobile app.

1. Access kintone from a PC, click the Open the Account Settings icon (the down arrow at the top right of kintone), then click Account Settings. 　

2. Click Mobile Access.

3. Take a note of the password displayed in the Client Certificate section. You will use it in a later step.

4. Click Access via Web Browser. 　

5. Enter an e-mail address that can receive e-mails on the iOS device on which you want to use the kintone mobile view. Re-enter the e-mail address for confirmation. Click Send.
   The settings file is sent to the e-mail address you entered. Receive the e-mail with the standard iOS e-mail app.

6. On your iOS device, you will receive an e-mail with the client certificate attached. Tap the certificate.

7. Enter the password for the client certificate, which you took a note of in Step 3.

8. Tap the access URL provided in the e-mail to access kintone on Safari.

You see the mobile view of kintone.

If you want to use the mobile app, you need to configure settings in the following way.
You can use client certificate authentication for both Safari for iOS and the mobile app.

If you want to use the mobile app, download kintone on your iOS device.

For details on mobile devices that can be used with the mobile app, refer to Supported Operating Environments (only available in Japanese).

1. Access kintone from a PC, click the Open the Account Settings icon (the down arrow at the top right of kintone), then click Account Settings. 　

2. Click Mobile Access. 　

3. Take a note of the password displayed in the Client Certificate section. You will use it in a later step.

4. Click Access via iPhone or Android App. 　

5. In the 2. Select the app to use section, select kintone Mobile.

6. Enter an e-mail address that can receive e-mails on your iOS device on which you want to use the mobile app. Then re-enter the e-mail address for confirmation, and click Send.
   The settings file is sent to the e-mail address you entered. Receive the e-mail with the standard iPhone e-mail app.

7. On your iPhone, open the e-mail, which you sent from a PC.

8. Tap the attached file.

9. Select Copy to kintone as the app to open the file.

10. Enter the password for the client certificate, which you took a note of in Step 3. Then, tap Next. 　

11. Enter your kintone login password and then tap Login. 　 　

12. If you are prompted to allow the app to send notifications, allow or disallow as needed.

Now the connection setting is completed. The mobile app screen opens.
