If I sign up for a subscription during my free trial, when will my license be switched to the official one?
If you place an order during your 30 day free trial period, your trial license is switched to the official license at the point of the order, even if the trial period has not expired.
The billing start date is set based on the order date, without regard to the trial end date.
You can use the service for free until the end of the month you place your order. Billing starts on the first day of the next month.
If your free trial period ends in the middle of a month, we recommend you to place an order in the month when your free trial period ends.
Example: You started the trial on September 10, and placed the order on September 25.
If you start the trial on September 10, your trial period ends on October 10.
Then, if you place an order on September 25, which is earlier than the trial end date, you can use the service for free until the end of September, and the billing starts on the first day of October.
Therefore, we recommend you place an order on the day between October 1 to October 10.
In that case, you can use the service for free until the end of October, and the billing starts on November 1.
- If you want to place an order through our partner (distributor), consult that distributor about the best timing.
- Even when your free trial period has been expired, billing starts on the first day of the next month after your order date.
- Data and settings created or configured during the free trial period will be retained for 30 days after the free trial period ends. If you place an order during your free trial period, or within 30 days after the end of the trial period, you can migrate your saved data to your actual environment.
