Once you configure the Basic authentication while setting up a mobile app connection, the app will keep the authentication credential to connect.
You will not be prompted to enter authentication credential again after setting up the Basic authentication at the beginning.

However, when you reinstall the mobile app or change the connection settings, you will be asked to enter authentication credential for Basic authentication again.
