Departments that are set in Users & system administration and groups (roles) that are optionally added cannot be used in apps that are in guest spaces.
For groups, you can only use the "Administrators" and "Everyone" groups.

In an app that is in a guest space, you need to specify one user at a time from the users that are using the guest space.
