Although I can view records as well as the fields and the app to which the records belong, the records do not appear in search results

If you are experiencing this issue, it is likely because you do not have permission to view the Created datetime field.
When you search all contents, a space, or an app in kintone, search results will not be displayed if you do not have permission to view the Created datetime field.

Solutions

Try either of the following solutions.

Configure permission for the "Created datetime" field

  1. Click the App settings icon (the gear-shaped icon) at the upper right of the View screen.

  2. On the App settings screen, select the App settings tab, then click Fields under Permissions.

  3. Click Add permission set and then select the Created datetime field to set permissions.
    Example

    Management Department [✔] View [✔] Edit
    Everyone [  ] View [  ] Edit
    In the settings example above, the Management Department members will be able to view and edit the Created datetime field. Other users cannot will not be able to view the returned records when search results are displayed with the default sort order.
  4. Click Save at the bottom right of the screen.

  5. Click Update app at the upper right of the screen.

  6. On the confirmation dialog, click Update app.

Use the Filter feature in the view (If you know which field contains the value you want to find)

If you already know which field contains the value you want to find, you can also use the Filter feature to find records.
