If you are using a Safari on Mac, Safari is configured to extract zip files automatically upon download by default. By changing the default setting of Safari, you can prevent downloaded zip files from being extracted automatically.
It is recommended to make this change in advance because all app templates need to be imported in zip file format.

To change the setting of Safari, perform the following steps.
Some menu names and the steps might be different depending on the version of Safari you are using.

1. Launch Safari, and select "Preferences" from "Safari" menu.

2. Click "General" and deselect "Open "safe" files after downloading".
