When "Less than or equal to," "On or before," or "Before" is specified as a filter condition, records with blank field values are included in the filtered results
If you specify one of the following filter conditions on the View screen, records with blank field values will be included in the filtered records.
- A filter condition with ≦ (less than or equal to) used with a Number or Calculated field.
- A filter condition with ≦ (on or before) or < (before) used with a Date, Time, or Date and time field.
If you do not want records with blank field values to be included in the filtered results, you need to add that as a condition to the field in the filter settings.
This also applies to the following settings.
If you want to exclude records from filtered results when a specified field is blank, you need to add that as a condition to the field in the filter settings.
- The Filter settings of a chart
- Initial filter setting in a Lookup field's settings
- Filter in a Related records field's settings
