Adding an App Group

Adding an app group lets you create a new group of apps for which you can manage permissions all at once.
Create app groups for specific departments or projects as needed (e.g., a "Sales Department" app group or a "Recruiting Team" app group).
To add app groups, you must have kintone administrative permission.
The steps to add an app group are as follows.

  1. Navigate to the "kintone Administration" screen.

  2. Click App Groups.

  3. Click New App Group.

  4. Enter a name for the app group.

  5. Click Save.

The app group you have added here can be selected on the "App Settings" screen of individual apps.

You can also configure the default app group. When a new app is created, it is automatically categorized into the app group specified as the default app group.
